This beautifully polished multicolored fire agate cutton cabochon comes from the town of Calvillo, in Aguascalientes. Our fire agates are specially picked from the mines and polished by Calvilla's premier "pulidor" (polisher), these are the best fire agates Aguascalientes has to offer. The brown cap is known as a 'dead spot' where there is no visible fire in the gem.
